It's a Wonderful Life, and Scrooge (1930's one).

A Christmas Story.  My favorite by a mile.  ;D

My top 3 are

3. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
2. It's A Wonderful Life
1. Scrooged

Honourable mentions must go to Elf and A Christmas story....

M-5

A Christmas Story
Christmas Vacation
Scrooged
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

ElfManDan

I'd say "It's a Wonderful Life", but my family usually ends up watching Star Wars or something Christmas Eve (this year we watched Star Trek: TNG on SyFy, it was a perfect Christmas Eve).

I'd love to note some of the fluffy Christmas movies, but by the time Christmas finally gets here, I'm usually over saturated with the holidays and stress levels from chasing after kids and other worries demand a release. I need to see something blow up before I do.

My list in no particular order:

The Long Kiss Goodnight
Die Hard 2 (more explosions)
Lord of the Ring Return of the King (Solid action, less walking)

Oh yeah the Lord of the Rings are great Christmas time movies in my family too. We love those three.

I gotta say Die hard, suprised that I am not the only one! Must have a lot in common with you guys. Also Home Alone deserves a mention.

Its a Wonderful Life (very close second)
