Really enjoyed the first one, this one looks even more bad-a$$.

Twentieth Century Fox has debuted the international trailer for director Olivier Megaton's Taken 2, opening in theaters on October 5 and starring Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Rade Sherbedgia and Luke Grimes.

Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from Albanian kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one.

The 1st one was great and this looks like it could be just as good!

I'm thinking about it but it does look pretty good.   Loved the line at the end of the preview ("kill your other sons too") .  He's channeling Jack Bauer.

Premise seems a huge stretch. "We're looking for someone that we have a picture of that's somewhere in the world."

Saw this on twitter today and it made me laugh:

Liam Neeson trained Batman, Obi Wan, and Darth Vader. He is both Aslan and Zeus...and he punches wolves. Why would you kidnap his family???

Every time I hear the title of this movie I want to add "Electric Boogaloo" to the end...shows how old I am I guess

Came out today.  Looking forward to seeing this one.

So going to pass on this one. Premise doesn't appeal to me at all.

Saw this today and enjoyed it quite a bit.  If you saw the first and liked it this one will appeal to you too.  Liam Neeson is really perfect for this role.  Next I want to see him team up with Jack Bauer!

Oh, it made $50 million over the weekend.  An amazing amount for an October release.  The theater we saw it in today was pretty full.

Number one at the box office again this weekend with a 2 week total of about $90 million.  Pretty impressive.  Even "Argo" only made $20 in it's opening weekend (which looks like a great movie by the way).
