Another show that I really enjoy bites the dust!

I've just watched the final episode of the current season. It finishes with a slight cliff hanger that looks set to be the main plot for the next series. I was excited with the new line of writing...and a little brassed off that I have to wait till the next season to fnd out more. Then the TV announcer kindly informs us that this show has been cancelled and will not be returning!

And we are just left thinking

What was Gods plan? Why must Sam remain in the Devils service!!??

And then realising that yet again, we will never find out!! :lamo

I hadn't heard of this series. :confused Could you give a brief description? I mean without spoilers of course, but just the original premise. The name sounds pretty interesting.

It's a comedy about a young man called Sam. He and his two friends all work at the local DIY superstore. Sam finds out that his  Dad sold Sam's soul to the devil and on his 18th birthday, he becomes the devils servant. Starts off as a monster of the week. Every week he gets an object which he must use to return an escaped soul back to hell. Basically, as the series went further on, it was all about Sam's life and trying to get out of the devils service.

Fantastic show with excellant character development. Each episode was self contained, but also had a continuing story thread running through the series...in the same way Buffy or DS9 did. Not many shows that manage to do that well
