Hi All

Just Like Kenny and a few other forum members, I decided to move. The past few months were busy with selling my townhouse, and then getting packed and moved into my new home. I am all moved in, and starting to get settled. Here are a few pics of my new house, I still have plenty to do, but at least daily things needed are unpacked. I always forget how much effort moving takes, so I don't want to move again for a long time :) .

Here are a few pictures of my TV room, it is just below the Kitchen. It is not optimal setup, but I am hoping next year I can replace my TV with a flat panel for better viewing from all areas. The Shelves by the fireplace are large, and I was able to put all my DVD's in them.

This is my Kitchen, it is nice and bright with some windows and a door to the backyard. Will give my wife plenty of space to work ;)

This is my main bedroom, it is pretty big, and has a bathroom in it as well. There are two other bedrooms and a bathroom on the top floor, but I will paint the bedrooms as they are very dark color.

This is the Front Room of the house. I don't really have any furniture to put in that one yet, I used it as a staging area for things, haven't quite finished yet ;) . The dining room is behind, but there are boxes piled up in there

This is my Office. I managed to get three desks in it, and still have room to move. Took a bit of thinking on that one. The room has a very large closet, which is great as I can store all my office related Items in there. There was a door, but I removed it to fit all 3 desks into the office. Still some cleanup in the closet to do.

Finally, this is my Basement where I will store my collectibles and toys. I need to do some renovations down there, so I will have to wait a bit before I can set things up. Everything is still a bit of a mess, but hopefully in the next month or so I can get started. There is another room, but it is painted a dark brown, so I will paint that a lighter color and remove a wall if I can to extend the main room. There is also a nice display counter on one side that I will use to setup some dioramas.

Finally, yesterday when I was at the store getting things for the house, I bought a few models, to give me some motivation to get things done, so I can start on them. :)

Looks great Jeff!  I hadn't realized you were in the midst of moving too.  Looks like you have some nice room for your collection.  Are basements common around you there too?  Can't wait to see you get it all set up the way you want.  Congrats!

Looks terrific, Jeff! Can't wait to see how you display the collection!

Thanks Guy :)

Yes Basements are pretty common up here. I probably spent a good part of my life living in them ;)

Will take pics when I get the Collection setup, really looking forward to starting on that.

Great news Jeff, looking forward to seeing your basement all set up. :)

Thanks again guys, really enjoying the extra space. I have to keep reminding myself to go cut the lawn, as it has been a few years since I had to do that. I think the toy room wait is going to kill me ;) .

This is a picture of the outside Kenny. It is just the Realtor listing, my Wife is back from her trip, and had the better camera, so I will take some with that camera.

Nice... great place Jeff.. can't wait to post picture of our new place.. if we ever close escrow.

Hopefully it goes through for you soon Kenny. I can't believe how much longer the process takes in America then Canada. From Selling my Townhouse to buying and moving into this one, might have been 45 days. The Mortgage financing seems much more straightforward up here, as I did not have to jump through all the hoops you had to. I pretty much went to the Bank, they told me how much I qualified for, and it was all pretty much done.
