New Joss Whedon TV Series - Dollhouse

I couldn't help but notice that two of the members of the Dollhouse cast mentioned on their twitter that they were working with Jonathan Frakes. I'm only assuming, but I'd wager a guess that Frakes is likely directing or possibly acting (maybe both) next season. Anyone know anything more then I do about this?
