KOTOR I & II

(one was way better... I've played it like 30 times... and I love the Dark Side. LOVE IT!!!!!! well... in real life... I would have been light... I think... but it's not real life... so I will keep going here...  )

P.S. When ever I start playing that game... I get addicted... I beat the first one in 5 days, and didn't look anything up. wow... life before college... ah.

Star Trek Voyager Elite Force

(II was sort of depressing...)

Lord of the rings, the Two Towers (or The Third Age RPG)

Splinter Cell I and II

Star Wars Battle Front I & II

(Also Armada I and II, Ghost Recon II, Age of Empires, Bridge Commander, Dark Forces I, II, III, and IV. They were not really called dark forces III and IV...
Space Quest also has a place near to my heart... Many more)    :yoda

Have you heard of Star Wars Dark Empire? I saw the soundtrack to this game on iTunes. Wasn't that a SW novel? I didn't know it was a game too.

Jedijeff, there are new Sam and Max games.  Go to:  http://www.telltalegames.com/samandmax

You can download the mini episodes for $8.95 each or the entire season for a lower price per episode.  I've read that Episode 4: Abe Lincoln Must Die! is outstanding. I like your Nascar Racing Papyrus story.  I hear it's still one of the best.  I remember playing NASCAR 1998. . .I think.  It was fun and hard.  One time, I remember somehow going from 4th gear to 1st--not good. I heard my engine make a loud noise, it then started smoking and I slowed down and eventually stopped.  Yep, I had blown my engine.

Moyer, I think you should play KOTOR with Four Lights.  You'll like the game.  Trust all of us who like that game.

And a lot of you liked many of the Star Wars games.  I agree that KOTOR was a fantastic game. It's the best RPG I've ever played but then again, I haven't played that many RPGs. I'm sorry to say that I never played X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter (I believe that's one of the titles). I always read that it's still the best space combat simulation out there (after more than 10 years!)

Of course, there are many WoW freaks here  :P

Darkmolerman

yes I am a WOW geek as well, so how can you play KOTOR with a freind?

Oh I have to add Oblivian to the list! I just bought a 360 about a month ago and Oblivion was the first game I purchased for it. I LOVE this game. Just wish it was Star Wars...hopefully the next Knights Of The Old Republic will be similar in length and quality.

Its always a bad sign when you trawl the boards, see a topic you think "yeah I'll reply to that" only to discover you already did some months ago  :-[

I think I've been away too long.

Anyway since I'm here I'm going to add

Dawn of War
Civ 3 & 4
Pirates (Sid Meier)

Nice to see you back again Geoff!  ;)  I've always wanted to get into the Civ games but never had the time to try yet.  Is Civ 3 a good place to start?

Geoff G.o.B

Rico,

go straight to Civ 4, as one of the guys said earlier the basic concept is the same through all of them but Civ 4 is prettier. The addons for it do add some nice dimensions to it, but be warned the hours can fly and I don't want to be responsible for you missing a podcast  ;)

I finnaly got up to date with you last month and I was starting to catch up on other podcasts now I only have or two of yours to listen to, then my MP3 player broke  :wallbash:

Ordered the new one today  :biggrin
