I am with you Rico, I want to go see it again. Really enjoyed this movie a lot, might be my favorite of the summer.

Rico

Over $220 million worldwide already in less than a week.  Still busting records.

Listening to the soundtrack right now while in Milwaukee for a race and seeing it again Tuesday.

Awesome Movie. Nearly fell out of my chair at the
Ranger Rick
line. Also at Groot's
Weeping Angel
impersonation. I may be the only person who loved the stinger, but that may be because I remember
Cherry Bomb was one of the band's songs from the 80s Howard the Duck movie
. Which I also loved.

I wasn't planning on seeing this, but the praise seems universal.

I am hoping to see it again this week if possible, it has been awhile since I had that feeling about a movie. There are movies I enjoy a lot, and then there are movies that seem to touch something in me, I guess my inner child, this was one of them. Over the past few years, Pacific Rim and Super 8 hit that spot with me. After seeing GOTG, the kid in me, wanted to be like Star Lord, have a cool ship, and travel the Galaxy doing both Legal and Illegal stuff :).

We hope to catch this during the week.  I want to bring the kids with me.

I did get to see this last Sunday with my wife and we both liked it but it doesn't seem to be as much as most of you did. Now saying that we were both pretty tired going in and probably should have waited till later to see it. She has been working a LOT of hours over 50 two weeks going now and she did doze off. I was just tired from not sleeping well but I didn't doze off. I did like it and would give it a 7 out of 10 and it will be a Blu-ray buy when it comes out. I also didn't know the characters that well like I have some of the other Marvel movie characters and maybe that was part of it. I'm not sure but I can say I enjoyed Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Transformers more so far this summer. Saying that this is one to see on a big theater screen and if it strikes you stay till the end of the credits.

I think it will end up being THE best summer movie this year...fun, action, laughs, effects, and fun! Always enjoyed it when Marvel went into space...bring on NOVA!

Cover art for the soundtrack - so cool!  Could this movie get any more awesome prior to release?

Heads up, there are two soundtracks available at iTunes.  The first is the Brian Tyler original score, which I rated many of the tracks 4 and a few 5s.  Then there is a separate soundtrack for just the oldies that are associated with the graphic you showed.  Of course, you can get both for about $19 total.  I personally have liked both and did not have most of the Raw Tape selections on my iPod yet.

Bryan Tyler is becoming the Marvel composer to beat! Loved his Thor Dark World score.

I bought both, the Awesome Mix has some real feel-good music on it, I blast it.

Saw this last night with the family (in 3D - the only show we could make).  It was fun, even though I didn't know any of the background.  As usual, Zoe looked delightful.  :)
