I know this is not exactly on topic for this group - but I just saw this yesterday.  Daniel Day-Lewis really nailed this movie and role.  I really enjoyed the film.  Great to get a feel for the backroom negotiations, wheeling, and dealing needed to get something done in Washington.  Tommy Lee Jones was killer as Thaddeus Stevens (from Pennyslvania).  Not Sci-Fi but a wonderful movie that gives you plenty to think about.  I wonder if it will show in the UK?

She was great in this movie.  I am a Lincoln fan, so I know a good deal about the both of them.  Her portrayal was good and fair.  Abe had his hands full, that is for certain.
