Looks like you can get Amazon Prime now for $7.99 per month.  That ends up being more costly than $79 in one payment, but it gives you the convenience of a payment plan thing too.  Well worth it for the shipping and the video content is getting bigger and better all the time too.

I have been a member for years, and love it.  We try to buy most of our stuff here, and use the Amazon credit card.  We have gotten back almost $900 this year without paying a nickel of interest.  :)
