BOSKONE 2012

So day one has started and happened and there is nothing great to report from this year's BOSKONE, the boston area sci-fi convention.

This year, the guest of honor is John Scalazi and the program looks good.

Hitting a con a year seemed to be quickly becoming a family convention and this year we took our daughter with us. Last year the kid stayed at home and we went to a different con, but we got to have a private brunch with the guest of honor of that convention and a NY Times best seller, Kelley Armstrong.

We don't have any ins on this one, but we're expecting friends that might have some contact with some of the authors that are currently at the con.

If all the stars align, I might try my hand at some onsite recordings for Rico. We shall see...

Okay, I 100% planned to record audio today, but that was thrown off by a daughter that wanted to first swim, and then took a practice sword to the head in a sparing exhibition. Hopefully tomorrow will yield better results.
