I'm hoping this day will work out for folks. In the USA this is the start of the long 4th of July weekend. But I have some busy weekends ahead and I liked this date since it's after "Superman Returns" comes out. :superman I thought we could discuss that movie, what's new in Trek and other stuff. Hope folks can make it then. I'll set an exact time when we get closer to the date. But it will most likely be afternoon --- like 1-2pm EDT - or so.
If I'm not recording a SkypeCast for SciFi Dig, I'll be there for it. ;)

I love these podcast get togethers, because they strongly encourage me to watch the movies that are in the theatres that we will be discussing, and I am usually too lazy to bother to go to the theatre, but this summer will be different. Now that I'm done all my exams, MOVIES, VIDEO GAMES and BOOKS for me this sumer. And yes, I don't believe I have anything on that date, Ill be sure to be there.

Would it be possible to split your audio output, with one end going into a recording device (an iRiver, analog tape recorder, or some other device)?

Yes. I could send the audio to another PC even. But the Pamela software works pretty well - once I get my new key code for the upgrade. I'll get it all worked out before the next chat.
It appears that I was mistaken about content being cut out of the IMAX version of Superman Returns. Evidently, any problems with the IMAX format have since been ironed out.
Before I discovered Pamela for Skype, I looked at a lot of things that said the only way to record stuff with skype was to split your audio into another comuter. But then I just got pamela (didn't actually buy it, but after the thirty day trial, I'd just reinstall it ;D) and it all worked good.
well, its late july and im ready for the next skype call... i just saw superman, great movie, i have a few things to say about it but seeing as how its already been discussed, there really isnt much of a point... anyways, im always up for a good trek talk...
