Yep - I talked about this on the podcast over last weekend and posted a blurb on the main site about it. Pretty cool. How do they pick these things anyway?
Strictly, this is still rumour until the list is officially published but I guess that the sources posting this have enough repute to be believed.

Some are external recommendations while some are rotal decisions I think. If you believe the discussion around this one, it was the Queen's personal decision.

Well I saw it when Levar Burton tweeted about it and posted on one of those twitter pix sites.. so there is a good chance that Sir Patrick has seen it.

I love that image. The angle of her hand is correct and everything.
I doubt the Queen could have been persuaded to do it but I'd have loved to hear the respoonse from the palace if someone had dared to suggest it!
