I do prefer posts that are already edited together, meaning there are no flubs or mistakes in them. If you can't edit your posts that is cool also I just need to be made aware that the post needs editing.
We read posts every week so if you are going to help out I would appreciate it if you could read every week. I understand that things come up and you can't read one week but please if you agree to read expect to read every week.

Can I get the post numbers that you already read Jen so I don't reassign them to someone else.
Might I make a suggestion. Would it be possible to spend some time on the next Ready Room to talk about the changes in the setting and give listeners some background first? Maybe even make this a short RR prior to the first monster RR with all the first post readings? I really think it will help. Maybe you were already planning to do that, but I just wanted to make the suggestion.
Yep....we are going to do that. It's on our to-do list. ;) I think we can catch everyone up on why this is different fairly quickly. I don't want to fall too far behind in the post readings. We're already a week behind in reading them so we'll probably begin right away.

And it will be...we do that every season. ;) It did not slow down last season and we had almost two weeks worth of back posts to read even though the season ended. People seem to like that portion of the show so we continue to include it. Skipping posts would leave holes in the story on the RR and that might be confusing.
Yep.. that's the plan.. will have folks continue to read posts and will put out 20 or so an RR.

I did not mean to skip posts permanently, of course. Did I say that?? I just don't want you to feel you have to cram everything so far into the first RR. Oh, and there are slowdowns. Not at the start or end usually of seasons, but just look back over the Ready Room running times from last season. I see everything from a 22 min show to some 90+ minutes. So there are chances to catch up - if needed.

We did not plan on putting all the posts in first RR. There's over 40, which is awesome...but many of them are long and would take several minutes to read aloud. Kenny likes to acquire a que of readings. He collects as many as he can each week, but he never uses them all. :)
I was just saying that there will be commentary at the start of the RR, like we usually do when we kick off as season, and there will be some readings in the first RR. Not all of them, just enough to get the listeners introduced to the story.
That's all I was asking about. I just wanted to make sure people didn't get thrust in blind to season 10. I wasn't sure if you and the rest of the RR group were going to have time for commentary. It had seemed you all were very busy lately.
Any more volunteers to read posts this season? I have five so far that can read weekly and one that can read occasionally. Anyone else want to help us out?
I would Kenny, but I'm not sure my audio quality is up to snuff.
I may take up on that offer as there are a lot of posts to read and not many readers

Okay guys and gals.. I have assigned posts 36 - 90. I know it's alot of posts and I don't need them all but the next few weeks are going to be crazy for me as this is my last week working on Deadliest Catch, I'm going to Comic Con next week and the following week I'm suppose to be closing on my house.. so I'm trying to get as many RR's done as possible. So Episode 61 which I'm editing now should cover posts 16 - 35. Next weeks RR will be from 36 - 55, the one after that is 56 - 75 and the one after that is 76 - 95.
In a perfect world I would love to get up to post 75 by Monday of next week, and I have to get up to post 55 by Monday of next week.

Yeah, sorry about that. When I play games I do it quite excessive and neglect other things, like the internet in general. :(
It actually started with revisiting Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. It's one of the games that invites to try different playing styles with different endings, like Deus Ex (played that one, too). Tried different clans, got more and more bits of the story which I liked, but still don't like vampires. And then I played some more games.
I still wonder how I ever escaped Oblivion in the first place (there are tons of beautiful mods out there). So thanks for asking, but rumors of my assimilation are greatly exaggerated (at least as long as I can manage to stay away from MMORPGs).
Now I'm trying to catch up a bit. I see you guys are doing well, seems the new time line has a very strong start. The number of posts are breathtaking, and the one I read was more like an excerpt from a ST book I would pick up. :)
As much as I don't like to be heard, I will be willing to help out where needed until everything is caught up.

It slightly sucks, but it took my an eternity to record it, so please forgive me. And it's a whole 8 1/2 minute reading, so it needs to be much forgiving. Seems I'm out of practice, at least working on my 'r' payed out with all these Romulans around.

Difficult to pick one, not that many short posts or female characters (who are usually covered well by their creators). But it's NaNoWriMo, so they are, very, very busy! It seems November is an all-you-can-read buffet! ;)

Just wanted to confirm you got my readings Kenny, the email was pretty big (183 was a massive post! 10 minutes long!)
I'm starting to stringout the next RR and realized that it's been a while since we did one and folks might be lost if we pick up with post 140. So I was hoping someone who has been part of Season 10 can do a kind of "Recap".. something like "Last time on The Ready Room" and then give a 10 or so minute recap of the first 139 posts just to bring people up to speed.
Do I have any volunteers??

How's the next Ready Room coming along?
I know Crystal (Shelby D) has done a great Season 10 summary up to the last Reading. I think Kenny has that or will have that soon. I'm tempted to get a second summary done telling everyone what's happened since the last ready room up to the last post. I'll check with Chris and Kenny as I'd like to get everything regarding season 10 wrapped up so we can start 11 without worrying about it.
It's on hold at the moment.. I'm just waiting for the summary.. soon as I get that I can get the next RR out.
Kenny I think we should do another summary after Crystals. I can't see us Reading all these posts before we start season 10. What do you think?

I think that's a good idea and then we are start fresh with Season 11 next year.
