Woo Hoo.. I just got my acceptance letter to the Producers Guild of America. I heard recently that they allowed Post Production Supervisor to join the guild so I applied last December and have been waiting to here back. I just got an email letting me know that I have been accepted.
This is a nonunion guild. But there are lots of benefits to the guild.. besides seminars and job placement I'll get DVD's for the award seasons and free movie screening through out the year. I get my start up package in a few weeks.
This is very exciting news for me and I just wanted to share it with you all.
I want in.
