I'm VulcanRidr, from VA. I ran across the Treks in SF podcast just yesterday, and am fairly impressed. I've listened to several episodes, and will be adding it to my podcatcher.
I'm a Star Trek fan, in order of preference, I like
DS9/TOS (tie)
STNV
TNG
VOY
ENT
I'm also a BSG fan as well as SG1.
I am also an avid Sci Fi reader, and I gravitate to military Sci-Fi, including David Drake's Hammer's Slammers and Lt. Leary series, David Weber's Honor Harrington series, and John Ringo's Posleen series.
I am a Linux geek, to the point of having no windows machines at home. Which is a good thing since my job title is Linux Platform Engineer.
Anyway, that's a little about me.

Absolutely. I run Linux and I really do ride a Vulcan. I guess I guess it was just a matter of time before I found this forum...:)
