I had heard of his passing today via text alerts from my twitter feed. Very sad to hear. He accomplished so much in his lifetime that it is incurable to think about sometimes.
Wow.. just got to work, checked my email, and found that our general manager sent a corporate wide notice of Leonard Nimoy obit.
I had no idea that he was half-human too! :)

RIP. Was working on someones desktop at work when a news alert came saying that he had passed. Pretty bummed out that another original is gone. The Netflix page for Star Trek shows Kirk, Spock, Bones and Scotty so its too bad only one of them is left from that picture.
Yeah, I got a CNN alert on the bad news. Was expecting it - sad to say.

Yeah i think Shatner has had a bit of unfair comments about having to miss the funeral. Charity commitments are a bit different than just average meetings. Must have been hard for him.

I agree. I also think that he made the right move considering that it's more than likely that GT and Wk would be there and that's a bit awkward to have at a funeral.
Just saw that the latest Simpsons cartoon had a tribute to Leonard Nimoy at the end (a cartoon version in his memory at the very end).
