That will be some experience! Are they showing the pilot I take it?
Wow, I'll go to see this!
I am envious that we don't get this up in Canada, but I hope everyone who gets a chance to go enjoys it.

It will be "Where No One Has Gone Before" & "Datalore."

Both great choices!
This won't be playing in my town but I can get to one that is in about 30 to 45 minutes depending on where I decide to go. I hope it works out where I can go.

Yeah, mine is playing about an hour and a half away....not sure if I'm gonna make the trip. We'll see, I saw the Menagerie in theaters when the TOS blurays were released, it was a pretty cool showing.

I missed the TOS when it showed up in theaters so thats why I really want to go see this one.
I guess there's little chance of seeing this come over here:(
Oh, man, there are five in Phoenix showing this and one is all of 20min. away. Might need to do this.
New trailer for this...
Star Trek: The Next Generation 25th Anniversary Event (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoMuGEeXIZs#ws)
I'm still jealous...
oh great, the timing really conflicts with the warehouse 13 season 4 celebration i had planned. might not go to this one. :(
Ordered tickets a couple weeks ago. Should be fun. Looking forward to the blu-rays. The sampler looked great!
Got my ticket for this. Only two weeks away now! :)
My wife and I saw a commercial for this at the theater yesterday and although it would be fun to see it on the big screen it is $12.00 I could put to the purchase of owning the Blu-Rays, which I finally decided to purchase. The news about the extra 20 minutes of footage on Measure Of A Man (one of my personal favorites) pushed me over the deciding edge. I hate giving Paramount more of my money but somehow I'll justify it....again!

Cool that you guys are getting this too.
Awesome, I was trying to figure out if we were getting it. I can go to the same theatre downtown where I saw the TOS screening.
About one hour away from seeing this tonight! Woot!!! :)
I'm going! WOOOO HOOOOO!
Very enjoyable seeing this tonight. Theater had a pretty good crown of people. Lots of little extra stuff sprinkled in during the presentation of the two episodes. Lots of fun seeing TNG on the big screen and I even learned a couple things I never knew about before related to a few of the effects on the series. Really glad I went out to see this! Can't wait to watch the Blu-Ray's now even more! :)
i'm really glad you all went!
Just got back, theater was almost full. I got the feeling about one third to half were seeing these episodes for the first time. Where no one has gone before seemed to benefit more from being on a big screen. It had a bigness about it. The dialog felt natural on the big screen. Loved the extras and the screentests. Also I had never seen that cartoon that plays in the into.
Oh and "Shut up Wesley" got a huge laugh. There were a lot but that was the joke of the night.
Shut up Wesley got many laughs at ours too, along with "I heard you know how to turn them on!" SO FUNNY! Our theater was about half full, but wow, it looked so great on the big screen. LOVED IT!
Loved the behind the scenes stuff and it was just plain fun to be with geeks of a feather.
Good stuff.. here are some pictures of the evening.

I wish I could have been there. I couldn't get the night off. It would have been worth the two hour drive to see it with you and Amy.
Great pics Rick! How did you like those trivia questions? So easy! I think anyone that didn't know the answers should have been kicked out of the theater! LOL! :)
P.S. I liked how in the first episode they kept calling Wesley - "the boy." Hehe!
I really wanted to go but couldn't make it. I wish they would have just had it here in town! Glad you guys enjoyed it.
I know, the trivia was simple. But that's ok... I was with a couple of folks who knew most of them, but not all. LOL!
