Post by: Rico on November 22, 2011, 09:26:47 AM
Post any amazing or even just good deals you find for Black Friday, or Cyber Monday or anyplace else for the upcoming holiday shopping season.

To start, it looks like Apple will have some discounts this Friday.  Details at the link below:

Amazon has already started doing Black Friday deals.  With all these deals, it really is pointless to leave the house now ;).

Well, except for food...

Springboard Media, an Apple reseller here in Philadelphia, is offering 13" MacBook Pros for $899, which is $300 off the regualr price, a pretty good deal if you ask me.

This is where I got my iMac last year on Black Friday, for $500 off.

$500 off a NEW iMAC or $899 for a New Macbook.....How is that possible, i have a very good friend that has the Apple store at Texas A&M and the company i own we do Apple service and those discounts just don't jive? I told my friend about the $500 discount and he thought i was crazy the markup on new Apple products by authorized resellers is very slim. Like Rico said do they have an online store because i wanna max out my credit cards on BRAND NEW Macbooks and iMACs :)    here is there site   http://www.springboardmedia.com/apple/ (http://www.springboardmedia.com/apple/)   the Macbook is the older model with the 2.3 ghz processor Apple is selling them refurb for $929 so $899 is ok.  Apple is selling that iMAC refurb for $19 more so if its new its a pretty good deal,Apple gives you six months warranty on their refurbs and after buying them for years most of the refubished Apple product is new and unused so i go that route when i wanna save a buck. Thanks Jobydrone for the information!

Yes I should have specified that these are new computers but last years models that did not sell.  They aren't refurbs or returns, though.   My iMac that I got last year was a 27" dual core, which normally sold for $1699 when it released, but it was around the same time the new i3/i5/i7 quad cores came out so it was heavily discounted..
