Amnesia: The Dark Descent, if you want a game to scare you. I have not played this game, it is that scary. But it comes as a strong recommendation from a good friend of mine.

Left For Dead series if you like FPSes
I'm not getting anything this time around, but maybe Christmas. Plus, a little low on cash.

I'm low on cash myself, saving up for Skyrim in a few weeks. But those are some awesome prices. I'll have to check and see if anything really good is five bucks or less for Mac...I really have always wanted to try the Left for Dead games...ten bucks for both, can't really beat that.
Edit: hmm Amnesia Dark Descent only four bucks, works on my iMac, and Tim is too much of a scardey cat to play it...I'll have to give this one a try.
