Just got the new podcast put up. Covered most of the new, SF & fantasy fall TV shows coming in the next few weeks. Didn't do a video cast for this one for a few reasons (listen to the podcast for more on that). Anyway, thanks to those that sent in comments, and I hope all of you enjoy the podcast!

I can't wait to see Terra Nova and Grime. :)
Hopefully "Terra Nova" will be good. Hope you guys enjoy the podcast too.
Podcast was fun! I'm not too sure about Terra Nova, it reminds me a bit of that Lost World show they used to show on the Space Channel here. it feels like a "been there, done that" show.
Downloaded and ready for work. :)

Kind of agree a bit. But I'll give it shot. Plan on trying most of these new shows out at least for a few episodes and see what catches my fancy.
Great podcast! I hadn't heard about Person of Interest. I'll give it a try.
Really enjoyed the podcast Rico. Thanks.
My concern with Terra Nova is that it's an expensive show so it's going to have to do real well in the ratings in order for it to last.
Just as a general comment I find it interesting that so many of us now say we'll give a new show 3-5 episodes to see if it's any good. I know we all are very busy and only have so much time but many great TV shows (Buffy & Farscape come to mind) weren't that great in their first seasons so imagine if we used that 3-5 episode system on those?
Times sure have changed. :)

Great episode Rico, some awesome sounding shows coming out. I hope I get to see them. :D
I listened to the show, but I hardly got interested in any of the new shows coming out. Maybe this will change later but....just nothing really piqued my interest. Maybe I'll just skip TV altogether this year, getting burned too often....

Great show, thanks so much Rico! I am looking forward to some of the new shows.

The reason for me going to only 3-4 episodes and trying to decide to keep watching is there is much more TV on these days that I'm interested in vs. even back in the "Buffy" days. Multiple new genre related shows, plus I watch other things like "Modern Family", "The Middle", "Castle" and so forth. So, my TV time is more at a premium. When there used to be only maybe one or even two genre shows on the air I would watch them at least the whole first season (which actually was as long as some of them lasted). Anyway, I do plan on giving this new crop of shows a shot. Plus there is always Netflix streaming, DVD's, etc. if I miss out on something. Another thing that wasn't around "back in the day."
Another fantastic episode Rico.. got me excited for show that I didn't think I'd be interested in.. we have a fun season ahead of us.
It was a nice roundup of the pending shows, thanks.
I can see this year becoming a period to catch up on shows I've missed in the past. I assume we're going to get something like Alpha's over here eventually which I may take a look at but most of the more fanasy based stuff doesn't grab me at the moment. Perhaps it's time to rocket through all those series of Smallville I've missed (and get hold of Fringe which I've inexplicably never seen).

I guess I dated myself with that "back in the day" comment. LOL
All the young whippersnappers don't realize how good they have it nowadays with so many genre shows to choose from.
Back in my teens when I got hooked on genre TV shows we only had five channels (3 major networks and 2 UHF channels). My first "appointment" TV show, after Star Trek: TOS reruns, was Kolchak: The Night Stalker back in 1974-1975. There were only three genre TV shows on that season (Kolchack, Six Million Dollar Man and Planet of the Apes) and they all ran on Friday nights and two of them ran at the same time.
