Yeah it's so awesome to finally meet him. He was going to be passing nearby I knew and I told him he should stop by to see me or I'd travel a little to meet him. They (his family) ended up passing through the Tri-Cities. I was so excited when I left the gym to go meet up with them. We had a good time hanging around the mall and Heytelling Rick.

I can, of course, confirm that this picture is legitimate. :) It was great fun meeting up with another member of the TSF crew. Hope to do so very soon, but my vacation has come to an end and I must face reality again.......

Awesome. It is neat that you can get the chance to do that. Everybody on here seem like they would be cool to meet no matter your background. Because the thing that we have in common is our love of Star Trek and Sci-Fi.
Yeah we talked about all sorts of stuff. Though I know I can be a bit of a chatter box when I get talking. One thing about meeting him was I for some reason expected him to be shorter. Tim is a bit of tall guy, he makes me look short in that picture and I'm probably about average height I think.

I also thought that he was shorter. But then when I saw the picture Tim looked pretty tall. Of course I'm only 5-4 1/4 so most people are taller than me. And I always put the 1/4 in there because It makes me feel taller. ;D
Well I'm not short, but I'm not exactly tall at 5'9. I'm around average height, but that was about the first thing I think I said to him and he said he thought I'd be taller. His brothers were the same too so I was looking up to them, but that was me in grade school so I was used to it.
Now I'm curious why people thought I was shorter than I really was....

My guess is that it's something to do with the fact that you've got pretty broad shoulders. Without a height reference, I guess it's easy to assume 'average' dimensions for something like the shoulders and then scale the height to suit that theory.
I need to go and find pictures of you and Rick now so that I can reassess his height!

I'd suggest you eat more but I've read enough of your tweets to suspect that that would be easier said than done. Personally, I'm eating less so I could ship you some left overs if you like? How long for old food to cross the Atlantic (by boat) and then drive up to you?

I don't think that would work. I eat more than the average person. I need an extra about 1000 to 2000 calories daily then most people cause I burn that much off in less then 2 hours. That's life as a fitness instructor (or being crazy, but no, maybe those are the same thing...).
It was about 3 hours I'd say we just hung out at the mall. It was a pretty suddenly planned thing.
