Now this is looking better and better! I loved the Carpenters The THING and this prequal looks pretty honest to that film. Scared the crap out of me..

The Original 1950's thing is my favorite Horror/sci fi movie beating out Alien.....i was excited when i saw the preview of this but sadly i am thinking i will be let down :( Hopefully not. Anyone else love the original movie..... i think i can recite the entire movie word for word, makes my wife crazy. The John Carpenter re-make was pretty good def worth watching.

I haven't seen the original in ages, like maybe the 70's. The remake really scared me, I found it really horrifying, more so then ALIEN even although I loved ALIEN more.
