Getting ready for season 5. Here's a fun little video from Comic Con.
Season starts Friday, October 21st on NBC.
Morgan Versus the Intersect - Chuck Comic-Con 2011 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lECpk1g4lEo#noexternalembed-ws)
Such a funny video. Got to love Jeffster doing Eye of the Tiger. Can't wait for season 5. I can't wait to see where this all it gonna go. Kinda hoping the whole Morgan thing isn't jumping the shark a little though. Well will see I guess.
Promo image for the new season.
Love this show, can't wait for it to start!
New trailer for season 5.
CHUCK SEASON 5 FIRST PROMO!!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYGLil1GaFk#ws)
Oh I'm excited for the next season!!! That trailer really helps me feel a little better about the new direction for next season. I've been a little bit of the fence thinking it might be a jump the shark moment, but of course I still will love the show and watch it to the end.
Chuck is back and off to a good start. I like where they are going with all this.
A little weird with Morgan as the intersect, but Chuck still has his action moments. He's still our star in the end of the day and we got to see him be the hero in the end. Though I thought the falling out that high window might have been a little much, would have liked seeing maybe a little more of a moment with him in pain or something to say yeah that was a bit high.
I enjoyed it and have to see where they go from here.
I enjoyed the start to the season too. I like having Morgan getting a bit more action too. And the bit with Jeff and Lester was fun too. Some cool, Chuck moments in this one...
I liked the part with Chuck's plan that he left them a message about in the van. It showed Chuck is still good at this spy stuff - even without the Intersect. I'm not super thrilled with this bad guy. He just seems like a jerk more than a real threat. And, oh my god - I barely recognized Mark Hamill at the start of the episode. He needs to get back into fighting Jedi shape.
A nice commentary on the first few episodes of season five at the link below (spoiler free):
That was Mark Hamill, so maybe I didn't recognize him at all. He has kinda changed a lot.
I didn't enjoy this as much as you guys. I still liked it but hope for better episodes.
I didn't even notice Mark Hamill. I did however see Ethan Phillips but he was not on very long. I really liked the Chuck/Elle scene early in the episode but I didn't like the club scene. I don't know why I just didn't. And why did they cut Sara's hair!! She still looked hot in that black dress and the OTHER black thing! ;)
Cool episode of Chuck last night. I'm enjoying the way things are going and the stuff with Morgan too. And how cool was it to see Carrie Anne Moss on the show? Chuck has always had some great guest stars and this season they are doing great so far.
And what a crazy thing at the end of this episode.
Looks like the intersect is messing with Morgan's mind quite a lot.
Yes...
The easy answer might be the Intersect is pushing things out of the way in Morgan's mind to sort of make room. I wonder if he'll get to the point of not even knowing who his real friends are anymore?

Seems as though that starting to happen already. And with the trailers for next week it looks like they aren't gonna drag it out at all.
Actor Danny Pudi who play Abed on "Community" will be guesting on an upcoming "Chuck."

I don't watch community but I thought that actor looked familiar. I enjoyed this episode which i thought was directed very well by Zachary Levi. I don't believe he has directed any other ones.
I liked the part when they were at the nudist camp. Funny. But wouldn't it have been better to see Sarah and the other woman fight without the robes. ;) I don't know where this season is headed especially after the Moss character killed the CIA guy.
This was a fun episode and I really liked seeing more of Carrie-Anne Moss. Just had a nice blending of using all the characters too.
A good episode indeed, I have no complaints. Keep on the awesome Chuck episodes!

He actually has directed two other episodes from season 3 and 4.
Oh my Gosh!!! Watching this episode right now and Freddie Wong is in this episode!!!
Kinda makes up for the stupid nudist colony thing. Only kinda, I have no words for that, but hatred.
Thanks for clearing that up Sheppard. I had never noticed that and I normally watch for the director when I watch shows. Mainly to see if any of them were Trek actors.
Probably my favorite episode of the season so far. And didn't Sarah Lancaster look great!
Tonight's episode Chuck vs the Santa Suit? I think thats what it was called is my favorite of the season. Great story and action.
Loved the fight at the end with Chuck punching Shaw. I even threw a couple punches myself when they were fighting! Don't mess with Chuck's wife!! And then the preview for the next episode...WHAT!!!! Can't wait.
Yep, cool episode last night. Very "Chuck." Kind of saw the ending coming a bit, but still great stuff. Nice to have new episodes now while most shows are off.
Great Chuck again on Friday. Looking foward to the rest of the season.
It was neat to see Sarah's mom. And the preview for next weeks show! I figured that was coming.
Yeah, last Friday's episode was fun. Looks like they are running off the last episodes of "Chuck" this month with a two-part finale on Jan 27th.
Oh, ending too early. The season has gotten better and better as it's gone along.
WOW are they ending this great or what. Sad that there are only 2 shows left but my goodness have they been awesome. I got chill bumbs yesterday watching this!!
Awesome ending when Sarah has to put on the glasses. And who knew that Bo Derek was a spy!
Another very fun and very cool episode. Really going to miss this show after two more episodes. Such a great cast!
I almost don't want to watch the last two episodes. I don't want Chuck to be over. There's just not another show like it... :'(
Another great one. All the actors have been 'Awesome'.
Towards the end when Sarah was looking through the door of the train and Chuck was looking at her, man that was a good part. And when she didn't know who Chuck was, Oh, boy. Even though I kinda saw that coming. The 2 hour finale should be great!!!!
One of the most underused guest stars ever last night. Too band they couldn't have had
Claudia Black
as well. Really enjoyed
Jeff and Lester finally being let in and then saving the day
Bittersweet that the end is so near and it's getting so good. I just have 5 little words: Chuck vs The Motion Picture.
Really a nice build up towards the two hour finale next week. Even loved the different opening credits this week. Looking forward to how they wrap things up, but I'll be definitely missing the show after it's over.
Yeah, what was that with the opening credits? Was that an homage to another NBC show from way back, Supertrain?

I thought it was more Superman movie credit style. But maybe Supertrain - never watched that. Keep in mind the end of the series has been set up as a three part story. We got part one on Friday, parts 2&3 next week. I thought the credits were making it sort of a movie style opening for the end of the series.
I loved the opening credits. And the end is too near. And I like Pryovile's idea of 'Chuck vs The Motion Picture'.
Don't forget - the big, 2 hr. finale is tonight!
I'm rather sad it's gonna be ending. Can't imagine there being another show like Chuck, least not for a long time. There's not another show that I feel I can relate to the main character as much. I've supported this show proudly for 5 seasons and tonight I'm gonna be sad to see it end.
There shall be tears.
Make sure to watch for an appearance by Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris) on tonight's finale. He's been an executive producer and director of "Chuck" for awhile now. There will also be other guest stars as well.
Sadder still...I won't be able to watch tonight. She who must be obeyed has informed me that we are child free due to a surprise sleepover and are going out for the evening. Guess Chuck will have to wait until tomorrow morning.
Found this cool pic online...
All I'm going to say, that was a bummer way to end the series :(....
Still, I will miss this show.

No, the ending was fine...:
Just didn't like the unhappy ending. Ok, sure, its possible she'll get her memory back but still...
I'm a bit with Tim on this one. I've enjoyed the series and the last two hours had some fun stuff, but....
I think they spent too much time chasing Quinn over and over again. I liked the part with Sarah and here watching her old video reports and wished that had jarred some of her memory more. I know this was a tricky way to go over old things that have happened on the series but it felt like it missed the mark to me somewhat. I also was unhappy she wasn't back to herself at the end. I feel that was a sad way to leave things - even though of course she might remember eventually. I wanted a bigger bash at the end with all the main cast at the Buy More having a big party as Chuck and Sarah leave for their new, non-spy life. Anyway, I still have great memories of the series but the finale left me a little wanting something better for them all.
I loved the ending.
This was my favorite show over the last few years and I will really miss it. I think this show was one of a kind. I really liked how the relationship of Chuck and Sarah evolved over the 5 seasons. And it was nice to see some of the secondary characters get a little spotlight on the finale. And my wife even watched it with me. I think this would make a great movie either during the Jan-April timeframe or a tv movie. Based on how the show ended I think it would work well into a movie.
I was really hoping that Sarah would remember Chuck by the end but I still really enjoyed it. It was cool how they used the flashbacks and some of them were really cool to see again. Chuck has the intersect, again! I did like that part but what a sacrifice for him to make knowing that it could have got Sarah's memories back. That did seem like something he would do though. Glad to see Linda Hamilton back! And wasn't that Robert Duncan McNeill playing in the band at the Mexican restaurant? I also think the chase of Quinn took to long but was glad to see him finally shot. Does that sound bad? Another of my favorite parts wes when Casey hugged Chuck. has that ever happened before?? Jeffster is going to Germany. Thats cool. I'm sure I'll think of more things later.
And yes there were a few tears and goosebumbs. Goodbye, Chuck, you will be missed. :(
I think it was implied that when Chuck kissed her at the end, she remembered. At least that's how I'm going to interpret the ending. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't see Chuck's dad in a flashback scene, or even some new footage in the form of a memory that surfaces.
I really enjoyed the finale. I thought the first half an hour or so was a little slow. After last weeks episodes end. The energy I thought really dropped after last weeks end, but it picked up. There were so many fan moments, so many things I noticed that took me all the way back to season 1.
I don't think it was an unhappy ending at all though, I thought it ended with hope, right where the show began in season 1 with the roles reversed, this time it was Chuck helping Sarah.
I loved the big climax and Jeffster. I just knew they were gonna be there at the end. It was a great way to see them all out.
My one thing I would have liked to see a little more was Chuck getting the intersect back. I thought that was a rather important plot point they kinda just forgot about towards the end. But still I loved it.
Another cool pic during the last days of "Chuck."
So I'm curious if anybody else had the thought they should make a Jeffster spin-off next? Maybe a Musical? ;)

I think they would make for a pretty awesome like 5 minute episode webseries. Aren't all the networks still racking their brains trying to figure out webseries? NBC should get on the ball here. I think it would be awesome!!!

Webseries maybe, but full-fledged show? Not likely.
