Just got the live anniversary podcast edited and uploaded. This was a lot of fun to do - as always. Thanks a lot to those that send it audio comments and also to those that had time to tune into the live show itself. I think it all worked out pretty well. About to BBQ some steak and have some cake! It went very well indeed! I've had very choppy video in previous years but this really clean and clear, maybe a by product of the iPhone uStream app.
Now I need to download to hear what happened after I left...

It's pretty complicated doing it just the way I do it now. Two computers, clips (audio and video), audacity, my mixer controls, contests, etc. That plus a two hour show, so no I don't record Ustream casts. Plus, I kind of like keeping those as video for only the live viewers. I do other video casts for other things already anyway.

Happy 6th. Just got through listening to the audio version. Very cool episode. Thanks to the iPhone, I got to peek in a couple of times during the live event; even got to see the "Rico dance." While we were watching, my girlfriend said you look like Richard Gere. So, I'm going to start referring to you as "the Richard Gere of Sci-Fi podcasting."
