Looks like it could be, but scientists aren't definite yet.

Looks like NASA picked the wrong week to quit space travel (in an Airplane parody kind of way)

From this distance, it might not be water. It could be millions of Martian tripod killing machines walking across the land.

Yes, this was very exciting news.  Astronauts can desalinate and tank up for return trip.  :)
