Hadn't seen the Lost in Space one before.. but the company I use to work for many years ago made the Time Tunnel Remake.. and I thought it was really good.. too bad it never made it pass pilot.
Apparently, Fox passed on "Time Tunnel" in favor of "Firefly".

I've heard about these unsold pilots a few times before. After watching the recent new Wonder Woman pilot, I'm getting the idea for a special podcast to do sometime - lost series pilots of shows that never made it!

Great idea, Rico! There's certainly a wealth of source material out there, from "Assignment: Earth" to "Genesis II" to these new things.
I have seen the Time Tunnel one before, but not the Lost in Space, will have to check that out, thanks for the posts. Cool idea as well Rico for a future podcast
Yeah, well. I'm VERY glad that the Lost In Space didn't make it. Looked more like Nova 90210...Not good at all. The Robot looked more like that robot from the Carls, Jr. commercial! Same voice though. Horrible pilot. Of course, my opinion and it doesn't represent everyone :)
Wow, Time Tunnel...I liked that one. Very interesting. Would have liked to see this one. And...Eureka's Deputy Andy starring in it!! :)
Ok, so I decided to watch all of the Time Tunnel pilot. I thought it's pretty good. Really. And, the "target" of their mission is a person from the 1500's. It's Fargo from Eureka!! A very YOUNG Neil Grayston...:)

I loved the original Time Tunnel even though I wasn't totally sold by their version of temporal mechanics etc it was very entertaining.
I'd love to see a modern take on this, I know we have had Quantum Leap and Journeyman (which was criminally cancelled!) I want more! :)
I'll have to check out this pilot.
And you know, Timecop kind of reminds me of this Time Tunnel...
