Forgot to mention, doing a little build up of the Polar Lights Reliant. :)

That's nice Bryan, but that plastic model is blocking my view. ;)

LOL
I always liked Reliant as the first big screen realisation that there could be more than one design of Federation starship.
I still say you're going to need more display space.
Looking forward to seeing it when you get finished with your build.
Very cool Bryan

Me too, I always liked to see the realization of that idea which had been around since the original Strafleet Technical Manual book.
I must say this is a bit of an ill fitting model. Whereas Polar Lights big 1/350 Enterprise is very well engineered, this one is a bit wonky and I am going to have to Testor putty up the seams, but that's part of the fun! Decals on top of primary hull done as well as nacelles attached.
Looking good Bryan. But, I think you have those hull numbers reversed. LOL! ;)
See what I mean - hehe!
oops on the Decal front, but a nice model, you may need to build and extension soon to house all the collectables you have gathered.

It's a laptop camera so it reverses the image, the registry is on right. Rico is teasing moi!
Yes! I'm such a tease! :)

Seriously man, get an iPhone! ;)
Or even a regular digital camera! :)
Starting to look more Reliant like!

When it's finished, I'll do some proper beauty shots with a good camera. :)
The Azteking, is that decal or did you have to paint that on?

They are decals, Jeff, also sold by Polar Lights. Similar to the ones I used for the big Enterprise model.

Very cool they do that, looking forward to seeing the model when you are done.
OK, all done. Just hit the whole ship with a clear coat matt finish top protect the decals and to tone down the sheen. Came out pretty good, it's a bit of a challenging kit in terms of fit. It's kind of a Monet, looks great from a few feet away but up close it's a bit of a mess! The Aztec decals are very good, identical to the ones I used on the big Enterprise model I made. I didn't go into nearly the same level of paint work like I did on the big E, I'm saving that for when Polar Lights releases the 1/350 TOS Enterprise. That's my next project for the fall, when I think the kit is expected. Until then, ""...To the last, I grapple with thee; from hell's heart, I stab at thee; for hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee."
the letters aren't backwards anymore! nice! :)
Looks awesome Bryan. Great job and thanks for sharing!
