Title: "My Favorite Klingon"
Post by: davekill on July 21, 2011, 09:24:19 PM
He may be no Ray Walston (for you younger TISF'ers, that would be Bill Bixby's uncle Martin).

Tony Todd as Kurn was one of the best Klingons on Trek. He was even considered for the role of Benjamin Sisko.

A fierce warrior at 6'5" he could standup to big brother Worf.
But in the DS9 episode: The Visitor - a performance that took me by surprise, he was a very old Jake Sisko.

So I came across another of his incarnations from about the same time in his career - only in another galaxy just down the street...

Here Tony plays the part of Leonard Anderson, Captain of the Destroyer "Charon" and later the prototype cruiser "Victory".

The Toddmeister comes through again in the B5 movie: A Call to Arms, or more precisely - the pilot to series: Crusade.

You don't have to be a be a B5 fan to enjoy this movie and once again, see Tony Todd at his best.

I love those Earthforce uniforms.

He has such a familiar face that I'm sure I've seen him in things other than those you mention. Time to check that IMDB page out I think.
