The new podcast is now up covering the Voyager episode, "The Disease." A couple listener comments, some Trek and iPad talk too. Enjoy the show!

Just had the podcast on.
It's been the first time in ages that I've managed to catch it on the day it's come out.
Keep up the excellent work Rico.
It's good to be back.
Having fun listening to your comments as you watch this episode. I like how you were talking about Kirk not having read the regulations on personal relationships. It's probably because when he was Captain, it was only 1 cm thick instead of 3! LOL!
:roflmao
Kirk wrote the book on personal relationsihps...er...well...he caused the book to be written, anyway!
A good 'cast as always :).
I'm never completely happy when shows try and do a relationship story in a single episode but this one made a few good points quite succinctly and I think it wouldn't have held the interest if they'd tried to stretch it any further.
Good point Mike. It is hard to generate a deep relationship in an episode. So for Harry to toss his whole career away might have seemed extreme. But sometimes I'd like a show to just do something drastic like that and surprise us.
Great episode Rico, i do love the commentary episodes. I honestly cant remember this voyager show, it coul dbe because i'm not a great Harry fan. Great show :D
Enjoyed this one a lot!
I had forgotten about this episode, I'm not a Harry Kim fan in general, I've always found him kind of whiny and he seemed to be the go to character when they needed someone to get injured or unintentionally in over their heads. I guess because of that episodes featuring him don't really stand out in my mind.
As to the "throwing his career away over a girl" thing, I think they dealt with that, I feel like it was made pretty clear that in additon to just being "plain in love", there was some kind of physiological effect going on between them. It made him nuts.
Really liked the "Ready room. Now." scene with Janeway as well. One thing I've found with these commentary eps is that in listening to the audio only, you can appreciate the way the lines are being performed much more then when you're watching the episode. Just another cool thing about TrekSF!
Another great podcast Rico.. and a Voyager episode to boot. :)
I too enjoyed this Treks in Sci Fi cast for all of the reasons stated. Rico, you are on a roll. LOVE IT!
Another great podcast, Rico! This was a great Harry Kim episode. I remember the first time I was striken with The Diease.
Great Episode Rico. At first I did not remember it, but once you got into the show I did. I chuckled a bit when Janeway was Threatening Kim with losing his rank, I was thinking, he really cannot go much lower then he already is. It also is a good reminder of what Head over Heels in love is like.

Oh, I thought it was fairly clear that this was an assumption everyone was jumping to but that there was no factual basis behind it.
I enjoyed the podcast as well and I liked that I was able to watch it before I listened to the podcast. I hope to do that more often.
