Oh - you can bid already? Don't tempt me!! :)
Yep! I have bid on Propeorx before so maybe I got approved to pre-bid... Give it a try!!
i thought the key to auctions was to be the last one to bid... ???
Yeah, sometimes no one bids on an item so then you grab it for a deal. Live auctions are somewhat different than eBay auctioning. There isn't really the last minute 'snipe' bid concept. You either bid to win it or you don't. I don't do the bid wars cuz I don't have the deep pockets. Lol
so there are different styles of bidding... interesting.
I'd love that matte painting from TOS. Maybe I can sell them a kidney for it. ;)
i am confused.
in the second link, the enterprise shuttle, it'll be on hollywood treasure on the sci fi channel! there must be at least 1 bid on it for it to be in hollywood treasure! i remember the ad, the estimated cost was $50,000.
Ok, I'm all registered now. Saw a couple things I'm interested in and may bid on. Tempted by a few other things too.
Really cool, you guys will have to let us know if you win any auctions. I had a look through some of the items, some of them are pretty good prices, so hopefully they end up around those price ranges.
Watching the auction a little live right now...

Here's a nice item that went for a nice chunk of change.
Unfortunately, no luck! I thought I got one item but got outbid at the end. Clearly, I do not have deep enough pockets for this....

You and me both Rick. I was tempted by a couple of those isolinear chip things, but still couldn't bring myself to do it.
hey, you can always make some cardboard ones! :D
