Title: Eagle Transport
Post by: iceman on May 30, 2011, 08:41:28 AM
This was a rebuilt of a model that had previously been crushed when one of my book shelves collapsed and crushed it.

I rebuilt the frame out of metal and did a complete repaint on it then used the salvaged pieces to rebuild the rest of it, was able to salvage the command module, cargo container and engines, rebuilt frame and engines and repaired landing gear.

I may convert it into a medical transport, all it needs is the red stripes down the cargo bay. Loved this design as well.

That's a beauty. Love those ships, I had the die cast Corgi version when i was a kid, it was really well made. A friend had the BIG Eagle that was in scale with the 3 3/4" line of figures, that thing was so cool!

I love it John!  Great job!  I had a plastic Eagle that I played with for a long time.  Loved that thing.

I've always loved the Eagle.  I'm in the mood for some Space: 1999 now.

This was always one of my favorite ships, it was a very long tedious project, but my friend had the blueprints of the eagle transport so they helped allot.
