The latest STAR TREK movie offering from Art Asylum/Diamond Select, TWOK Communicator! They did a TWOK phaser last year so now I have the whole landing party set. I have always loved the phaser and communicator from TWOK, even though the communicator is an odd duck. The prop was essentially a metal box with a flip lid and very little inside. And it's big compared to the TOS communicator. Later movies brought the design more back in line with the TOS design, so this was the only appearance of this prop in the films. The toy is great, has two LED's which flash when the recorded from the film dialogue is playing (I was able to capture them in the pics) and yes, it has KHAAAAANNN! It actually even has most of that whole conversation between Kirk and Khan I once reenacted for a Treks in Sci-fi video cast. I'll do an audio review for this weeks show. :)
Isn't this a G-rated forum? :P Just kidding.
Very nice props there Bryan, very snazzy :)

That is cool Bryan, hard to keep up with you lately on the collectibles. Will have to keep my eye open for these.
Those are very cool!

I know Anovos is working on Star Trek Uniforms, Bryan must be holding out for one of those ;)
I'd love to use Kirk screaming "KHAAAN" as a ringtone on my iPhone. Does anyone have or can point me to a good audio file I could convert to use?
Bryan, in the immortal words of Sir Alexander Dane, a.k.a. Dr. Lazarus " I see you've managed to get your shirt off" :)
Jobey download a app called Ringtones it's yellow star in a blue square. This will guide you on how to convert music in your iTunes library into a ring tone on your phone ( if you have a iPhone ) first you need to have the clip. If you have audacity you can record the clip from your computer. Save it as a mp3 import it into iTunes and then use the ringtones app to guide you through transfer.
If you have a normal phone simple use the audacity programme to get your clip and save it on your phone.
Ps looks like you are putting on a but if weight Bry, best get doing some exercise. Beer anyone? ;)

Yeah I actually just use iTunes by itself to create the ringtone out of an audio file. ITunes can edit the clip down to the length you want and you just change the file extension on the new file to the ringtone format, no need for an app. I just need an mp3 or something of the line from the movie so I can edit it down and convert it to the ringtone format that the iPhone recognizes.

From the DVD?
Yeah put the dvd in to your computer. Use audacity ( you can find that online its free and also you will need to download lame which is on the audacity site, that transferes your recordings to mp3) to grab the line. You may have to change the settings on audacity but thats easy just go to edit>preferencies and then click on recording device and choose rec playback, then press record and play your DVD and it will grab the track. Save it and then export as mp3.
woot thanks for the email Meds! You're awesome!

I got the Khhhaaaannnn emote for my toon in star trek online does that count? Lol
