This a professionally made model of the NOSTROMO from ALIEN I just bought on e-Bay. It is a build up of the discontinued Horizon Vinyl kit. It has a terrific paint job which doesn't show quiet as well in photos, but it is a very detailed model. I have always wanted to get a Horizon or Halcyon NOSTROMO kit but they are very rare and sell for $200+. I was able to win this one beautifully built for only $120. :thumbsup

Very nice!
Sorry about the outdoor furniture shots. :)
Awesome! In the first pic i thought it was unpainted but on closer inspection you can see the great paint job.
Yeah, Joe, it pops a lot more in person. It's mostly shading and of the grey and dark grey to give it a weathered look. By the way, have you ever seen this amazing story about the original model and it's restoration?

Cool stuff Bryan, do you have a place in your house where you display your collectibles and Models?
That's awesome Bryan. Now, look what you just made made pull off my shelf down here in the Rico Cave. Maybe I should finally build this up!
Very cool find, Bryan. :) How / where are you going to display it?
For now...the same closet I keep most of my stuff! I have my big Enterprise model in a Hutch cabinet, a few Star Wars models in our 2nd guest/weight/exercise room, and the rest in a large closet here in my office. I need a bigger house. :)
Dude; you need to stake out a man-cave like Rico! Showcase that stuff! :)
