The Quidditch Western Cup is being played in Los Angeles this weekend and I went to day one.. you can read about my experience on my blog http://geekyfanboy.blogspot.com/2011/04/quidditch-western-cup-division-day-1.html (http://geekyfanboy.blogspot.com/2011/04/quidditch-western-cup-division-day-1.html)

I wonder how often people get stabbed by other people's broom sticks.

well I'm sure people don't get stabbed with them.. the broom ends are rounded over.. but I'm sure there are many times folks get poked. It's a very physical game.

Reminds me of an old British saying concerning an individual given too many tasks to accomplish. ;)
