The new podcast is now up (the first one recorded back home in over a year). Covered the TNG finale episode and had some great listener comments too. Took some time to get this one done today. Hope you all enjoy it.

Here are the lyrics to my new original dance song MAKE IT SO
you can download it here: http://www.startrekparodies.com (http://www.startrekparodies.com)
Make it so
Original song written and recorded by Rick Moyer
Imagine my thrill when on my TV
Star Trek was coming back and it would be weekly!
This time they would have a whole new crew
The sky was the limit on the things they would do
With a bald headed captain Who loved Shakespeare
And quirky first officer with a solid career
The security chick with a green uniform on
And later on replaced by a butt head Klingon
Chorus
They say all good things must come to and end
But when it was over I lost a best friend
A comfort to watch seven years in a row
And week after week we would make it so
Make it so
A cosmic cheerleader that could read our mind
A Doctor with hair that changed color all of the time
The engineer that wore a barrette on his eyes
And a boy wonder that would save all our lives
An android Pinocchio with robot like distractions
Longing to be human but can't use a contraction
An Irish chief that keeps the transporter a flyin'
With Keico and Molly the family Obrien
They say all good things must come to and end
But when it was over I lost a best friend
A comfort to watch seven years in a row
And week after week we would make it so
Make it so
The villains each week were a must see to
From Romulans, Ferangis and the ultimate Q
Cardassians, Shelliack, whatever they were on
Resistance was futile To the Borg automaton
The ship was run tight with Jean Luc at the head
And every single officer did just what he said
Like a family in space we would watch them every week
To uphold the prime directive and new life to seek
So thanks for your friendship Captain Jean Luc Picard
Give my best to Riker and the crew that you Guard
What a cool ship the Ol' Enterprise D
You were the best television a person could see
Goodbye Dr. Beverly, Data and Yar
Deanna, Wesley & Worf in the 10 forward bar
Geordie keep her running, Rodenberry's creation
Cause now that it's over I miss the next Generation
They say all good things must come to and end
But when it was over I lost a best friend
A comfort to watch seven years in a row
And week after week we would make it so
We would make it so

Same here.
Ready for my Monday morning cheer up :)
Hope you all enjoy this one. Certainly was nice doing it from home again. :)
Listening right now. Great so far! :)
Welcome home, Rico. :)
As always, a very cool podcast. The behind the scenes Trek tidbits were great, and the listener comments were nice to hear. I get a kick out of the fact that so many of us were impacted in similar ways by TNG & its finale. :)
And Rick M: Really cool song. :)
Fantastic episode Rico, awesome break down of the episode, great to hear Sue, Eric ( welcome back buddy), Kenny, Will and great song as usual from Mix Master Moyer.
Quick note, that was the first appearance from my daughter in the podcast world and what better show to make her debut than on TSF after all this is where I started lol. ;)
Yes, great episode Rico. It was great to hear your perspective on one of the best series finale ever. I loved all the great listener comments.
I'm glad you are all enjoying my new song. MAKE IT SO!
WOO HOO!
Glad you guys are enjoying it. Hope the audio sounded ok. Still readjusting things back home here.
Great show! Rico back in the Cave! Great song, Rick, I loved it! And good to hear big E leaving comments! It's like 2007 all over again on Treks in Sci-Fi!! :)

Yes, it was great to have some new and old voices in the audio comments this week. Love to have that all the time (hint - hint). ;)
You have TOS coming up, Have I ever let you down? :)
Really enjoyed this show, and also the recent Voyager episode - Thanks!
Rico, you've done it again. Another great podcast! I enjoyed all the comments. Rick, great song!
Listened today, great job, Rico. What you said about the flaws in the technical aspects of the story not mattering to you had me jumping out of my seat in agreement. I've listened to and read all the complaints over the years about the story not making sense, or the nitpicks about the "science" behind the story, and would just shake my head at how people just didn't get it. You expressed my sentiments to a "T". The mechanics of the story were ultimately just a simple framework for bringing everything we loved about the cast of characters back for one last spin. The idea of showing us the past, present, and one possible future was in my opinion brilliant and the perfect way to bring the series to an end without closing the door for good.
Thanks Joby - and everyone else that has been enjoying the cast. Yeah, if you get too wound up in the technobabble of it all you won't enjoy it as much I think. And ultimately the plot was a mechanism to show us the crew that we all had come to love after watching them for seven seasons.
I finished listening to this a few days ago and as per usual I enjoyed it. I really liked all the comments from everybody and thought it was cool how much in common I thought our comments were. And it didn't matter if we were male or female, from the U.S. or England or from California or Ohio. And I liked Meds comment or should I say his daughter. "DADDY!" How cute was that! Great job as always!
It was a great podcast (as always). It brought back some bitter sweet memories of seeing the series' finale way-back in 1994 (was it really that long ago)!
I had become so used to the show and it's characters, and it was coming to an end! :( It was good to see Tasha back again. I alway wondered if Denise Crosby ever regretted her decision to leave the show, though it ensured that Worf was able to develop, and he was a more interesting character than Tasha was.
That final scene of the show always gets me, especially when Troi said 'you were always welcome,' to Picard. :'( I knew we had a film being made with the TNG crew, but something special was coming to an end.
There was a listener comment from Sue (?) who said how young she was when she first saw this episode...she made me feel old!! lol!!
I guess the comments on the science are reasonable, but up until now I have to say I'd never noticed. I was another viewer who simply took this as a final (small screen) ride with the characters I'd come to know.
The final scene still has an impact, as much through memory as anything else, and it makes me wonder what differences we might have seen if that had taken place at the end of the first series rather than the last.
A great episode to podcast on. Thanks.
I can't explai why but I always remember the stardate that Worf says when Picard asks him "47988". It's just one of those odd things that sticks in my mind.
Hi Rico, I got done listening to podcast 321 all good things last week. It was a great podcast. I still remember when I first saw it broadcast. I enjoyed the listener comments on the podcast. That was a great episode of TNG and it seem a very fit ending to have Picard go have to deal with Q all over again like when they first met. look forward to listen to the other podcast I have downloaded.
