Great show Rico- excellent comments and some very fun moments!

Here are the lyrics to the song, and you can download it at http://www.startrekparodies.com (http://www.startrekparodies.com)

Penitent Man
Parody of ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man"
Lyrics and sung by Rick Moyer
Cool Hat, hates Nazis
Professor of archeology
Leather coat, a Bullwhip
Off on adventures on another trip
Findin' treasures just as fast as he can
Jehovah's quite crazy 'bout the Penitent Man

Gold Cross, Crescent Moon
Under libraries in a knighted tomb
He finds Dad, they team up
There just searchin' for the Holy cup
Dr. Jones will he'll reveal the true plan
Cause Jehovah's quite crazy 'bout the Penitent Man

Nice blonde, they understand
A Nazi agent for the Fatherland
Dad is shot, to save the day
Indy's got to take it all the way
Walk through the test pick the grail if he can
Cause Jehovah's quite crazy 'bout the Penitent Man

I want to go watch this again also, especially after hearing all of those clips. Also, it was weird to hear my own voice on the podcast. Weird but cool. Another good one Rico!

Bry I think its because Rico has something against us Brits. First of all he forgets about my Prisoner episode, then he dumps us (again) out of the competition. ;)

LOL!  No, the real reason is Rico's mind is slipping being away from home for so long.  He can barely remember his own name half the time anymore.  Is it Rick?  Rico??  RAD???

P.S.  Plus he keeps referring to himself in the third person.  ;)

Good fun thanks!

My take on the fact of the others following Indy through the traps to get at the grail cover two of the three challenges.

The rotating blades were jammed in place once they'd done their thing and the sand thrown over the invisible bridge tended to give away it's presence. As to the letters on he hopscotch board, I dunno!

That was sort of my take as well, Mike. I just sort of assumed once they reached the Knight, all the booby traps sort of...stopped booby'ing. :) Indy threw the dirt on the Leap of Faith, so at least they could see that one. Fun show, Rico and very fun song Rick as always! Last Crusade is great fun and is has a lot of heart, which was so lacking in Temple of Doom. i think Speilberg was correct in wanting to go back and bring the franchise back to what made Raiders so great. I actually blame Lucas for Temple of Doom and Crystal Skull.

I suppose we can't fault a bloke for not remembering what is likely 400+ hours of recorded content over the past 5 years. Blimey, i can't recall what i did last weekend...although I bet it was good. ;)

Really enjoyed the podcast Rico. Listening to it reminded me how great this movie was. There was really a lot of great scenes in it, very memorable. It is a movie that I really cannot think of anything I did not like in it, pretty solid the whole way through. Great job in capturing some of that magic of the movie for me again.

Does anyone know of Julian Glover's other roles?

I was netflixing Dr. Who a while back and I remembered seeing him in the one with Tom Baker in the City of Death as Scaroth. That was a weird one with the green aliens. He was also the voice of Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. His list of roles is quite long on imdb.com

I got to listen to the Indy 3 podcast yesterday.  I have a back log of podcast as usually. I first saw the movie when it first came out in 89 and I have watched it few times since.  I loved the Zeppelin scene and yes I am sure there were small planes attached to the airship for I think messenger purposes.  That is the plane might be used to get the mail or something vital for the airship, that would save the airship from having to land.  I also thought it was neat that it was a wooden cup as opposed to a metal one that was the holy grail. I think it was the only one standing out in a sea of bejeweled chalices.

well good job on the podcast, look forward to listening some more.
