Title: "The Adjustment Bureau"
Post by: Rico on February 08, 2011, 05:37:27 PM
This movie looks intriguing.  Basically it appears there's a group that "adjusts" things to the way they see fit.  Cool concept.  Due out the first week of March.

They could make a fortune by taking everyone that sees the movie and adjusting their memories of it so they have to go see it again.

Netflix has labeled this movie as "romantic" so I'm a little worried that it won't be the cerebral scifi that the concept of "the adjustment bureau" suggests and that I like to watch.  I look forward to a movie report on this movie.

I enjoyed the movie!  It did remind me of a mash-up between Bourne, Inception and Fringe!

Saw this tonight. Thought it was really really well done. Enjoyed the story and the concept. Well paced. Almost wished it was longer. Highly suggest it.

This was a Phillip K. Dick story.

Saw it this afternoon - I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10.  Interested in the other opinions.  My significant wanted to see it, not Sucker Punch, wonder why......

I finally saw this movie last night.  Pretty enjoyable.  Had a different take than I thought it would be all about from the previews.  I'm wondering how close it is to the original story.  Anyone else see it yet?

I liked it, it was a solid couple hours of entertainment.  Can't really go wrong with Phillip K. Dick.  I also saw the movie Source Code recently, which was kind of along the same lines and was a cool flick too.

I enjoyed it as well. Even Joyce stayed awake to watch, which is a rare thing! :) I love how good writers will take every day things, like the concept in this movie, where for years and years, in real life, we talk about weird things, then write something interesting to explain it. Like the Matrix. We all think everything tastes like chicken (see the movie for the reference), and the deja vu concept. I enjoy a movie that isn't typical!!
