Gotta get me some pumpkin pie!
YUMMY!!!
What is that marinade on your turkey?
dinner turned out great. My mother in law brought her wonderful cardamon rolls-- yum.
To answer your question, last night I cut up one sweet onion three stalks of celery, two cloves of garlic and put that in the cavity. Fresh cracked pepper and salt were sprinkled over the top and then rubbed with 1/2 cup olive oil. Then added Johnny's seasoning salt to the top of that, plus one packet of onion soup mix (dry) and covered with foil in the fridge. Then, when I got up in the morning I took it out of the fridge to bring it up to a higher temp, (about an hour) then baked it on 350 for three hours. It turned out perfect!
Oh, I'm hungry now...
I'm also getting jealous now since we don't have an excuse to do anything like this for another monther month at which point you'll probably be doing the whole thing over again :(
(Just to bid for the sympathy vote, I had sandwiches for lunch as usual yesterday.)
I'd send you turkey, but I'm afraid it would get kind of yucky by the time it got there! :)
Here are a few pics from our feast yesterday at Lynn's brothers home. The kids are Stephen (our oldest/tallest), Eric (our second son - the scruffy one), Grant (cousin to Stephen & Eric), Chloe (also cousin). Good day!
awesome! Looks like a happy family!

That's the Brits, Joe. :)
Had goose on e, just to try it. Not too impressed as I recall so we went back to turkey the year after.
Cool Pictures guys, looks like you both had some nice celebrations
Time for one more Thanksgiving family photo?
I stood back from the table for a second to capture this moment.
The late afternoon sun was streaming through the windows reflecting the light relaxed mood of the day.
Nice shot! Thanks for sharing Dave.
Very nice Rico and Dave, very nice!
