Thanks for doing it Rico, was a lot of fun for the hour I got to join. Maybe next time I'll be there the entire time :)

Watch out, one of these days I will be there!!! Spewing Apple rhetoric! And TOS love! :)
I'll try to plan a Skype call for maybe a weeknight sometime. Hopefully get a different group of folks that way.

I would miss our UK brethren. My training will be so much less from now on, IRONMAN is almost done for a few years. :)
d@mn! missed this one! Couldn't get out of some social obligations.
I gave it a try but it didn't seem to work - will have to try the next time.
Beer did you friend request Rico on Skype?
A skype pub crawl that would be awesome yay!!!!!!!!!
Just the wrong time for me I'm afraid. Having said that, I could possibly have joined later on but chatting with Rick at the time and listening since, I don't think there would have been a lot I could have contributed on.
For whatever reason, I'm not watching most of the stuff discussed and for those that I am, the series haven't started here yet. Warehouse 13 (probably my passion of the moment) airs episode 2 tonight having fallen well behind the US dates. It looks like SGU will only be a week behind again, however, but it's a bit hit-and-miss as to whether we see anything in reasonable 'discussion' time (even though I do have Sky with the SciFi channel etc). It looks like Sky 1 gets to air it's SyFy shows (SGU) before SyFy UK (WH13) which seems strange.
I did watch my first episode of Eureka last week (WH13 cross-over) but on a one episode test I'm not making a judgement call - not sure whether to carry on or go back to season 1.
Anyway, a good call to listen to although there weren't enough UK voices. I suspect a weeknight evening wouldn't help with that particular cause though! ;)
No worries, Mike, I don't watch any of these shows but still love the chat and would like to participate if only to heckle. :)
Honestly I don't watch many of them either, I just have opinions on everything and don't know when to shut up. :)
The things is, opinions matter. That's what usually makes you decide what to begin to watch anyway. So it was fun to speculate on some shows none of us have seen a lot of yet.
I'm just amazed at the sheer volume of entertainment content some of you consume and follow. I couldn't keep all these shows straight!
Interestingly, the majority of shows I watch are non-sci fi. Mad Men, Entourage, Hung, Boardwalk Empire, 30 Rock, The Office, etc. PVRs are amazing things.
I'd be curious to hear how many hours per week it takes to stay up on all these these shows. I can relate that to the number of hours I spend doing all my training. Maybe I'll start another thread in the TV section.
Go for it, I think that'd be an interesting discussion.
I've only been able to listen to half of #298 so far. Like others, I haven't seen any of the shows or movies discussed. In the "how much television do you watch thread" that Bryancd referred to, I mentioned that I am exclusively a dvd watcher. I catch up on movies and tv series in that way, and so I'm already a hard sell on catching something currently on the airwaves or in theaters. But it's great to hear what everyone else is into. I'm thinking of trying out Legend of the Seeker mentioned in last week's podcast. So these types of discussions are exactly what I am looking for.
Listened to this one as well.. great job guys.. which I was there.. had some great conversations.
