I'm sure by now, almost everyone has already discovered this, but...a few days ago I stumbled on the NetFlix app for my iPhone4! This is TOO COOL! Now I can get through my mind numbing work day by watching Quantum Leap and start watching Dr. Who! YEAH!! :metallica:
They have it for the iPad as well!
Yeah, think that was planned for awhile. I've just never been good watching anything long on a small screen like a phone or regular iPod. I can handle a vidcast sometimes but that's about it.
:)
Whatever you do, don't switch from the unlimited data plan if you plan to stream movies on the AT&T 3G network. Once you change it you cant get it back and you'll hit your cap pretty quick if you use netflix over 3G.
I guess I should be careful with my 500 meg plan :)

I'd say 'me too' but it's academic over here. All we have is BBC iPlayer and it won't stream over 3G.
So far my experience with Netflix over 3G has been spotty and unreliable. I've occasionally been able to get things going but more often than not the connection just isnt good enough. It's good to be able to search and edit my queues with the iPhone but as far as watching goes, I think I'd rather wait to get home. It's nice to have as an option though.
I've had no problems at all with watching NetFlix on my iPhone4 so far...(fingers crossed!)

Again, it all has to do with the AT&T coverage in your area.
True.
There was news today about Netflix and NBC teaming up... Something about NBC programs to begin streaming on Netflix next week.
I haven't tried to use Netflix over 3G as I only get 2GBs a month....what can a guy do though :( But really, I haven't had the need to so far (keep myself busy with other stuff) and I have a Wi-fi connection when I feel the urge to Flix it up ;)
