Podcast on "Donnie Darko" is now up and available.  This was a tricky film to cover, I hope you all enjoy it.

Just finished listening to the podcast. This movie takes some serious twists & turns, and operates on several levels at once.  I think you did a great job covering it, Rico.

In some ways, watching the film feels more like taking an emotional journey than like following a straightforward narrative. In fact, one aspect of the film that resonates most strongly with me is the mood the director creates. The film feels very surreal, with an undercurrent of tension that builds and builds throughout the course of the movie. The most specific I can be without spoiling anything is to say that watching the film is a cathartic experience.

And like the podcast states; the music is incredible. I posted the following clip on a thread for an earlier podcast; I think it's worth posting again:

Donnie Darko - Mad World (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR91Rj1ZN1M#)

For those who haven't seen the movie yet, I strongly recommend checking it out.

Thanks Eric.  The movie does work on many levels, like you said.  Love the soundtrack too.
