New podcast is now up covering this TOS episode. Thanks for the contributions this week - especially Rick's great new song! I think my new favorite of his Trek parodies. It rocks! :metallica:

just got it downloaded and will be listening today!
Here are the lyrics to the song, it can be found here: http://www.christrocks.com/parody (http://www.christrocks.com/parody)
Got bit by Mugoto
to the tune of Mr. Roboto by Styx
Rick Moyer
Oh No Captain Kirk got bit by Mugoto
It jumped on him on this day
Oh No Captain Kirk got bit by Mugoto
Spock got shot running away
The Captain yes I am--Flintlocks, Flintlocks, they've got some flintlocks
Beamed down I have a plan-Flintlocks Flintlocks, they've got some flintlocks
Tyree he owns the land-Flintlocks Flintlocks, they've got some flintlocks
I'm the prime directive man!
I've got a flesh wound, I've been nursing, right on my skin
The poison's got me, acting funny, McCoys in a spin
So if you see me acting strangely, don't be surprised
I'm just a man who, who needed someone, and Tyree's new bride
To keep me alive-just keep me alive
To keep my alive to keep me alive
There's something wrong- with my emotions- My head is fogg-eeey
I've come to help- avoid the Klingons, so you can be free
I am a hero, I am a savior, from Starfleet you know,
I'm just a man cursed with a spell beyond his control
On planet Nureal, on planet Nureal!
On planet Nureal, planet Nureal!
I am the captain man, Flintlocks Flintlocks, I'll get you flintlocks
who gives into a plan Flintlocks Flintlocks, I'll get you flintlocks
The prime directive true Flintlocks Flintlocks, I'll get you flintlocks,
So they can't kill all of you!
Oh No Captain Kirk got bit by Mugoto Oh no, Oh no Oh no
Oh No Captain Kirk got bit by Mugoto Oh no, Oh no Oh no
Oh No Captain Kirk got bit by Mugoto
You hurt me very much oh big white Mugoto
Cause I was doing the job that nobody wants to
And thank you very much, big white Mugoto
For driving a wedge between Tyree and Nona
Tyree, Tyree and Nona, Tyree and Nona
I want to thank you, please, thank you
ahhhhoooooo, ahooooo!
The problem's plain to see: Klingons technolgy
The guns will save their lives, a gift to equalize
The time has come at last
To throw away their mask
So everyone can see
Their true identity...
They're Klingons, Klingons, Klingons, Klingons
Wow - Nancy Kovak is from Flint, MI. Smart girl - graduated UofM at 19.

Thank you again Rico for another great podcast
The parody song this week was really good, Rick. Well done!

Yep - another Michigan girl made it to the big time. Here's a little tribute to her I found:

Loved this episode, I always enjoy it when you talk over the episode and I'm a sucker for trivia. Great comments and brilliant song from Rick,
LOL!!!! @ Ricks song, that was a good one. :)
Great episode. I always get this one and The Paradise Syndrome confused.

Great episode. I always get this one and The Paradise Syndrome confused.
I confuse this one with The Omega Glory all the time.
That is very funny because I always get it confused with A Taste of Armageddon. hehehe
Is taste of armageddon the one with the virutal war? If so, yeah i thought that's what it was when I saw the title. Then gain, I'm not one of those "know every ST line, cue, sound effect - stand up ST posters, shrine to sci-fi in my basement" type of fans :)

You seem to know a lot. ;)
You would be unwise to debate me on that :)
Rico- thanks for an excellent Podcast. I am halfway through the next one now. I've had a busy week! You really put out such a cool podcast. I am so thankful for finding many years ago.
Excellent!
I'm happy you found me too! Glad it's still enjoyable to listen to after all these shows.
