So I'm looking to get a second monitor for my system and I know I'll need a dual video card, but I have no idea what kind or type I should get.. anyone out there have some advise?
I like my ATI Radeon HD 4670, it has a DVI , HDMI, and VGA port so you can have triple monitors :P it is also about 70-80 dollars.
Any card with dual outputs will do fine, there's no need to spend a ton on it (unless you want to start gaming of course!)
Well I might start.. I want something decent but I don't need the best.

its moderate, it will be outdated in a year or so, most of the new games only need 3000 series cards, it is a 4000 series. lol I sound so smart :D
Nvidia GE Force 9500 GT.

Two of these in my system have been just powerful enough. Of course for what you want, its probably more than enough. Its cheap, but with power. Look on newegg.com for some. I got the EVGA varients of the 9500. Only warning I give is they are cheap, so sometimes the fans are poorly made. Just RMA it ofc. Shouldn't need to spend more than $70 for one of these.

If your wanting to game though, you'll want to either SLI it or get something with more power. A single 9500 isn't enough for new games these days. (Not for high-end graphics anyway)
