For those of you who don't follow wrestling, WWE has been doing a guest host gimmick where each Monday night a different celebrity bombs on live TV as WWE writers give awful scripts and give them something really dumb to do. Dennis Miller and ZZ Top have fallen victim to this.
Shatner has done pretty good with his work on WWE with Jerry Lawler, but this is a really bad time for WWE and there is a pretty good chance he will bomb.
The only ones who have done well were former wrestlers like Jesse Ventura and Roddy Piper, and surpassingly Bob Barker and Shaq both did well. But most have been bombs like Jeremy Piven and Al Sharpton.
The Shat gets around! At work I recently received a flyer from the National Truck Equipment Assocation. This year their annual Work Truck Show is going to be held in St. Louis. Missori with Mr. William Shatner as keynote speaker! Here's a link for that particular event.
