Title: Most memorable christmas gift..

This thread got me to thinking...what is the most memorable christmas gift you received in times past?

For me,it was one of those console electric piano/organs for kids.   I must have played that thing for years.

Mine was probably a small refractor telescope when I was about 12 or so.  Loved that thing!

A collection of classic Science Fiction stories. It was a boxed set of three large paperback volumes. Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlien, Frederik Pohl, Harlan Ellison- all the greats.  I read and re-read all of the stories. I still have those books. It's been a long time, I think I'll take them out again.

As I kid I was wild about GI Joe - and when I got an old school set (the original kind about 12" high) I was ecstatic.  My 'Charlie McCarthy' ventriloquist doll is a close second.
