I'm a big fan of the original.. scared me half to death when I saw it. And the current trend is to remake 80's horror movies so here is the trailer for the new version. Some of these scenes look like they were directly pulled from the original.

I loved the movies as a kid and making a Freddy movie without Robert England is like Vader's voice not being James Earl Jones or Yoda's not being Frank Oz.
Michael Bay screwed up the Friday the 13th movie that was released earlier this year. Rob Zombie didn't to too bad at the first Halloween. I don't even want to comment on the Texas Chainsaw or Hills Have Eyes remakes.
Can they please just stop with the remakes?
