Good to see him getting a show of respect.
Obviously very well deserved.
From an I ternational perspective(!), I obviously agree with Roddenberry's inclusion but have never heard if any of the other names mentioned.
I assume this is a US TV hall of fame of some sort?
Who would have thought in 1966 that Star Trek would become bigger than Bonanza?
Bonanza was on the air for years before Trek and lasted for years after Trek.
But how many kids today have never heard of Bonanza?
Bonanza lasted 14 seasons but Trek now has a total of 28 after originally lasting only 3.
There are 430 Bonanza episodes.
When was the last time you heard about a Bonanza convention?

I don't think you can compare the two. It's a totally different Genre. How many kids have heard of MASH, I love Lucy, and even The Cosby show?
All I can say is what took them so long!
