Title: $99 Blu-Ray Player
Post by: Geekyfanboy on September 25, 2009, 10:04:54 AM
Circuit City is no longer but Circuitcity.com is still around and they have a Blu-Ray player for $99 bucks.. I'm sure it's doesn't have all the bells and whistles and it's refurbished but if you want a player this is the time to get it.

That's a good deal Kenny! Since my first Blu-Ray player had problems playing many discs I bought I would want to try the player first. On my old Samsung the Star Trek season one would get out of audio sync further and further as the episode went along. Samsung was unconcered and refused to help me. I wrote them a ltter and told them I would never buy another Samsung product. I now own a Panasonic and I have not once had a problem with it. It plays everything! Even mp3s on a DVD-R!

If you can wait till the holidays I've seen stories saying certain locations will be selling standalone Blu ray players for as low as $49 bucks this Thanksgiving

Still think I'll wait and grab a PS3 slim at some point.
