I'm a big fan of the new Supergirl comics and have everyone so far (up to number 43) and i've just purchased the first 5 comics of Superman: World of New Krypton and i have to ay they are awesome. i can't reccommend it enough :)
I was reading Supergirl and I've delved into Superman over the years. I'll have to check this series out too. Looks cool!
Its a mini series by the look of it, running till March 2010 so a nice little collection. i'm really enjoying the Supergirl ones.
I've kind of lost touch with Superman. Does the story take place in the city in the bottle (I forget what it's called), or is there actually a new Krypton in the comics?

there is actually a new Krypton that is in a counter orbit to Earth and full of the inhabitants of the former bottled city of Kandor. In fact, the world was grown from the city using their tech. It had resided on Earth, but tensions between Humanity and Kryptonian let them to wanting them off Earth. They left and all Kryptonians except for Superman were banned from Earth. The story picks up there with them trying to make their new world work and the ramifications of every person in a society having the powers of superman.

Its a great series, I'm hooked, I've only just got into it and i purchase all 5 comics in one go and read them all with such enjoyment it was amazing. Cant wait for the next edition.
This is a little off topic but I'm interested in reading good Superman graphic novels. Now that I'm hooked on Smallville, I want to read good Superman stories. I really don't know much about Superman except what I know from the movies and Smallville. I'm not exactly interested in "what you must know about Superman" graphic novels. What I want to read are the best Superman graphic novels out there. The only one I've read has been Kingdom Come, and it's one of my favorite superhero stories ever. Thanks.
