Wooo-hooooo!!!
Oh buddy! I can't wait until this fall! :metallica:
Pretty cool looking trailer. One scene in particular stood out for me: The scene where Anakin sees Padme jump into the arms of someone (a republic officer or something?) and gets an angry, jealous look on his face. I guess I'd better finish watching season I to get caught up!
I saw this at the Clone Wars booth on a huge screen it was great.. can't wait for season two.
...and this is looking kriffing great too!

Season two starts tonight (Oct. 2nd) with a one hour premiere (two new episodes, back to back). Make sure to check your cable or satellite to see if you get the Cartoon Network in HD. It looks awesome that way! Here's another preview:

I've already purchased the iTunes season pass. Can't wait!!
Defend the bridge - against Jedi?? I hate this job. I'm not the commander - HE'S the COMMANDER! (BLAST!!). Oh, well I guess I'm the commander (BLAST!!)
Good start to season two. One odd thing though for me - the sound was off in my broadcast. The voices seemed low, but the music and effects sounds were high. Really weird. Might try to catch another showing of the premiere.

Yeah Rico it was the same here.. I recorded the SD version to see if it was the HD one only. I went back and watched it a few times so I could pick up all the dialogue. I think someone screwed up in post.. it's a big no no, someone should have caught this before it aired.. of course it can always be Cartoon Networks fault also..

The droids have improved so much since Season 1...or Movie #1. I'm glad, they made me laugh several times these last two episodes.

WOW?!? Uncle George needs I think some more people with some sound background (like maybe podcasters) to help out on this. Hopefully on the eventual DVD's and Blu-Ray's it will be fixed. I can't really see how it could be the Cartoon Network. They don't mix the sound.

When you deliver a show to the network the tape normally has up to 12 tracks of audio, normally there is a stereo mix on the first two tracks and then all the audio is broken down individually over the other 10 tracks, ie.. SOT, SFX, Dialogue, Music and such. Cartoon Network could have used the wrong tracks... or who ever outputted this set all audio tracks to equal levels.. regardless who did it.. it made it a bit difficult to enjoy... not that I didn't enjoy it .. I loved it but I'm hoping the SD version has better audio.
FYI.. the SD version audio was perfect..
It's playing again tonight here - in HD. I'm going to try again and see if they fixed the audio issues.
Watched it Last Night, pretty good stuff. I had to download it off torrent sites and watch through my X-Box 360. I missed the original broadcast up here in Canada, and their schedule is tough to understand for the station it is running on. Also the channel is only SD for me, and I would prefer to watch in HD, the sound was messed up like the rest have indicated, but I just turned up the volume.
I thought it was cool to see the Jedi Holocron, I read about them in the Novels, but to see one was cool. Ahsoka is sure taking on some of Anakins traits, and cool to see him chastising her for things he has done before
I missed it too, is it just on Space? What happened to CTV?

It is on Teletoon. From the email I got from them and what I could make out of their schedule, it is on Fridays at 8:30 pm. Unfortunately for me, on my listings, they don't put in the description of it, just clone wars, and would not allow me to record the series. I recorded it the other day, but turned out to be season one. I had to go and scroll through the listings and record the Friday showings for the next few weeks, but my guess is they will be behind what is being shown in the US, so It might just be easier to pick it off torrents a few days after.
That's what I had to do last season to take part in the SWAN Clone Wars roundtables. I guess it's back to the torrents for billy :)
Found this nice picture of some of the cast from the series.
Just a heads up, there's a new episode tonight instead of the usual Friday. They have been off for 2 Fridays now.

I couldn't find it anywhere on the schedule. hmm? I miss it.
AND IT WAS THE BEST!!!!!!!!
I don't see it on my guide either...
Hmmm this is what it says on the official website...
The Clone Wars Episode Guide: Landing at Point Rain
Original Air Date.: November 4th, 2009 (special presentation; re-aired at regular time, November 6th)
Unfortunately I get the east coast feed of Cartoon Network HD, which has already passed, but I do get the Standard west coast feed of Cartoon Network and sure enough there is at 8pm so I'm recording it.. Thanks Bryan for the heads up.
OMG.. talk about action packed.. awesome episode.
That was a very intense battle.. almost hopeless but the Jedi never gave up.. awesome stuff. Loved the reference to Episode 2
They pulled out all the stops on that one. Dave Filloni was discussing this episode on The ForceCast last week and how much action work they put into it.
We don't get it until Friday @ 8:30 up here :(
Sounds like a pretty good one!
Just watched it (they showed it this morning on Cartoon Network here). Really cool episode and amazing action. Enjoyed it a lot. :)
I loved how the Geonosians sounded and acted like the warriors from ALIENS!
Just finished the latest Clone Wars.. a continuation from the awesome episode last week. I really liked this one. This season has just been phenomenal.

What did everyone think of the most recent episode about the Brain Slugs? Pretty icky stuff, but still a cool episode I thought.
One very cool moment I thought was when Anakin was questioning Poggle (sp?). I'm sure you noticed the Vader-type music when that whole scene took place. It showed Anakin's fondness for Ahsoka overwhelming him and then causing him to do whatever he had to do in order to help her. Very cool part of the episode.
That was a great moment for the character and the series. I loved the episode, really dark and well done.
Another dark episode.. a great continuation of the "Zombie" episode. And I agree with you guys.. great character moment for Anakin and
Ahsoka, we got to see her limit by not killing that other padawan.
That is the one of the few times I've been almost creeped out by Annikan as he turns. It was really awesome as it starts to show his path to the darkside. I'm surprised the Jedi don't try and figure out what happens.
Awesome season I might add.

Finally got up to date with the Episodes, but looks like I might fall behind again very soon :) . Was interesting to hear how Ahsoka describes Anakin, as a person who does whatever to get things done, will be interesting to see how things play out for the pairing throughout the series, as I can see them having some major differences down the road.
Don't forget two new episode on tonight.. can't wait!!!
I really enjoyed tonight's two episodes. The first episode flew by.. it was cool to see some new Jedi's.. it was cool to see Grievous again.. but all he ever does is run away from fights. I did like the light saber scenes between Kenobi and Grievous.. love the four saber action.. just goes to show you that Kenboi is a awesome Jedi.
I really liked the story of the deserted clone trooper. To me that story was more important then Kenobi trying to get Grievous.
Such an AWESOME series.... can't wait for more.

You are right to a certain extent. Though he did "defeat" one Jedi and almost had Kenobi (yeah, like he ever will)
But it was an awesome twosome of episodes. I sorta wish it wasn't Annikan going to get Grevious, but w/e. I did like that Kenobi was more present in these episodes. I never get tired of him. Do hope we see more Jedi in the future as always.
Its still great!

Great set of episodes this past week. They are really fleshing out the clones and the idea of being an individual still. Missed Ahsoka but enjoyed both episodes a lot. Series continues to be very, very fun.

I am really enjoying this show as well. They are doing a great job showing the differences between the clones. Yoda emphasized this to them in an episode last season.
One gripe I'll have is that the times they've been releasing episodes are more random than Lost >_>. Cmon Lucasfilm, you can stick to a regular schedule, can't you?
Otherwise,t they've been very good.

Just an FYI.. Lucasfilms doesn't broadcast episodes. They have been producing them for years and years. I'm sure they have quite a few in the can. It's the networks that set the schedules. And again it's tough making 22 episodes to fit the 52 weeks a year that we have.
What I love about Clone Wars is I can watch it every week, new or repeat and enjoy them.
I liked the latest one.. loved the older jedi.
Just watched the latest episode "Lightsaber Lost" online. Awesome!
I really enjoyed this latest episode with Ahsoka. It was nice to see someone teach her. It was also nicer to see that there are Elders besides Yoda (almost). Is it just me or have we not seen Elder Jedi since Episode 5?
King
Ok, Episode 4, but you get my point.
They really stepped up the ambient lighting and citscape animation in the last episode. Really looked liek the movies showing the lower levels of Coruascant.
I also liked the Ahsoka episode where she lost her lightsaber quite a bit. Really like her character more and more. There were a few times I didn't get why she just didn't force pull the girl running away from her or at least pull her saber out of her hand. Maybe she was moving too fast or something. Anyway, good episode.

Eh, I've just learned to not think about Jedi powers too much. There are so many scenes in Star Wars where you go: "Why don't you just use the force?". Its like a Swiss Army knife. =P

Jedi can't be ALL Powerful or the show would be boring. I think for the visual thrill, Lucas went overboard with Jedi powers in the prequals and it has continued in Clone Wars. I always loved watching Luke and even Yoda struggle when using force powers. Now it's like no problem just because it looks cool. Having said that, I love the Clone Wars as stuff like that doesn't really bug me too much, unlike all the Karen Travis EU nut jobs and their whinning about how the Mandalore culture has been changed. I read some of Travis's book and liked her Mando's well enough, but I also like this version. Great episode last night!
I love Anikan in last night's show, "Master, I'll take care of this, you go and save your girlfriend!"
hehehehehe.

I had to struggle not to peek at the spoiler; I plan on watching the episode this evening. I have to agree; the show has really grown on me. I had misgivings at first, but in some ways, I think it rivals the prequels. With the weekly TV show format, the writers actually have time to do some character building. I'm fully onboard with this series! :)

For all in the UK, season two showing all day today and tomorrow on Cartoon network.
The downside is that they're only showing 9 episodes per day and I don't see the final few in the schedule anywhere.
